The Hydrocephalus Association produces a wide assortment of publications and products to help you learn about—and live with—hydrocephalus.

Your contribution helps raise hydrocephalus awareness and supports the Hydrocephalus Association’s mission to eliminate the challenges of hydrocephalus by stimulating innovative research and providing support, education and advocacy for individuals, families and professionals dealing with hydrocephalus.

The Association publishes a quarterly newsletter highlighting developments within our community.
We also publish booklets and fact sheets addressing specific issues.
Our online physician directories provide contact information for neurosurgeons and neurologists who treat hydrocephalus.

DVD
A DVD for families of children affected by hydrocephalus was created by Association members and film producers Mark and Mara. Copies of "A Family's Guide to Hydrocephalus," a 40-minute DVD viewable in English or Spanish, can be purchased for $15. Hydrocephalus Awareness Bracelets
Our new Awareness Bracelets are the perfect tool to help raise awareness in the workplace and community. Each one is a striking white emblazoned with the words "Hydrocephalus - Catch the Wave of Awareness".

Boozle the Hydro Bear
Boozle bear, a teddy bear with a shunt, was developed by Dory Kranz and Sarah Zadorozynj of the Hydrocephalus Association. Boozle serves as a teaching tool for doctors, nurses, parents and children. Anyone can easily perform “surgery” on Boozle with an actual shunt inserted from the head to the abdomen. Although Boozle was just recently introduced, the Association has already received amazing reviews from medical professionals, parents and children.

Awareness Pins
The Hydrocephalus Association's "Awareness Pins", made from shunt tubing, come attached to a card that outlines a few key statistics about hydrocephalus. You can raise awareness by giving these pins to family, friends, even your government representatives. A set of 10 pins, with informative cards, can be purchased for $30. We make each pin by hand, so please be patient if it takes us a little time to fill your order.

HA Greeting Cards
The HA greeting cards feature artwork from talented young artists affected by hydrocephalus. The cards are available for purchase and all proceeds go toward a financial aid fund for individuals and families who otherwise cannot afford to attend our 2010 HA Conference in Cleveland.

The 12-card set is an assortment of 3 unique, blank note cards and comes with 12 white envelopes. Note card dimensions are 4 ¼ x 5 ½ (when folded). Envelope dimensions are 4 3/8 x 5 ¾. The cards are white with a matte finish.
